Polly (Schooner) logbook, 1788-1789.

The logbook of the schooner Polly details two shipping voyages from Salem, Mass., to Martinique and the Turks and Caicos Islands, Nov. 1788-June 1789. The schooner's owner was Benjamin Needham; the masters were Thomas Bowditch and Daniel Needham. The logbook includes accounts of some of the merchant mariners on board and some equipment and supplies, specifically provisions.
